Stacey and Andy are so beautiful together and it has been a great pleasure for me to be their wedding photographer last September. They decided to tie the knot at the stunning Podere Le Rondini, a perfect venue for a romantic wedding in Tuscany as the one of Stacey and Andy’s was.

I got contacted by Stacey who found my photos quite impressive, then I heard back from her few months later, when she asked me if I still available to capture her wedding. Of course I was! Even thought the weather wasn’t nice and the couple couldn’t celebrate their marriage outside, Stacey was happy to get married in Tuscany with her family and closest friends.

Getting ready moments – When I went to her apartment, all the bridesmaids were in her room in a jumble of make-up and clothes, while Stacey was quietly sitting writing her vows. Then she started getting ready and after her make-up was done, she wore her wedding gown, with her friends’ help. Finally it was time to clasp on the accessories and put the veil:  Stacey sat down and one of her bridesmaids helped wear it correctly. At last, everything was ready, only time for one last toast with the girls.

The ceremony – The rain had stopped and, holding her father’s arm, the bride walked to the hall prepared for the function where Andy was already waiting her at the front with the celebrant. The atmosphere in the hall was so intimate and magical with the opening words of the celebrant, the unity candle ritual, the readings that brought the couple, and the groom especially, to tears. When Stacey and Andy vowed eternal love while holding hands, the emotion between them was almost tangible. The most touching moment arrived, with the exchange of their vows and rings. Behind them, the bridesmaids clapped and cheered, followed by the entire party. Outside the hall, they stopped just before me, and a minute later they toasted with a glass of champagne.

Couple picture moments – After the ceremony, the weather was much nicer so I took a few pictures with the celebrant on the terrace, where the ceremony was supposed to have taken place. It were very nice moments where all the relatives joined us for this repetition. Then while guests were relaxing with music and drinks, Stacey and Andy, decided to dedicate some time to couple pictures. They were very easy, sweet and spontaneous! When we finished, we went back to the villa where the music and the dancing guests welcomed us!

Time to celebrate! – The music changed and the bridal couple prepared for their first dance while the guests formed a circle around them. The emotion increased when Stacey danced with her father, and a few tears rolled down their cheeks. But soon it was time to start the dinner reception, and all the guests took their seats. I think that the best time to shoot table pictures is when the bridal couple reaches their guests. But then the couple asked me to go out for more pictures and we spent pleasant moments while I was capturing their smiles, their feelings, their love.
