Wedding in Val di Chiana, Tuscany

Warren and Denis wedding in Val di Chiana is one of most touching of the past season. Since my arrival at the Villa I felt at home and the atmosphere was intimate and warm. In the morning we all had breakfast while laughing and joking. A lot of guests were still wearing their pajamas or were showering in their rooms. From the beginning I had the feeling of being one of the family, so I felt at ease with all of them, and this is certainly the best way to work. After breakfast we moved to Denis’s room for the preparation of the bride and even there the mood was so relaxed: her best friends were all there helping and giving advise.

Then came the father of the bride and, even if she tried to handle the emotions when he kissed her before leaving the room, she still shed a tear. Then was time for the “first look“, which has now become a must during weddings: the bride looks out on from the stairs and the groom finally sees her wearing the wedding dress for the first time. All guests were present and it was so exciting. It took her a few seconds to get downstairs and it felt like forever, but finally the two lovers hugged each other. He tied a flowers bracelet on her wrist and finally they went to the town hall of Foiano della Chiana for the civil ceremony. After tiding the knot, the newly weds could not miss a walk through the alleys of this Tuscan town for some couple photos. A short stop to rest a bit and finally everyone was ready for the symbolic ceremony in the garden.

The floral arch was ready and gorgeous, the guests were sitting and Warren was standing next to the celebrant. Finally, the bride arrived, everyone turned back to look at her. A short distance was separating them, but the emotion was so strong that again it seems to last forever. The ceremony started. The sky above us was blue and some very white clouds created a great scenery for some beautiful photos of this Tuscan wedding. After the big “I do”, everyone was ready to celebrate! The wedding dinner was the perfect end for this wonderful day. The sun was getting lower and lower while the guests began to eat and speeches were animating the atmosphere between each course. At the end of this intimate wedding in Val di Chiana I greeted the newlyweds, and thank them for allowing me to be part of  this incredible day.
