Their wedding would have been the beginning of march in the US, with plans to spend a few days later in Italy for their honeymoon. Then they changed their minds: why don’t realize a  symbolic ceremony in Italy? It would have been very romantic to get married a second time, with a background of the citiy of Florence. The idea was very beautiful and so a Friday in March, Friday 13 to be exact, a day considered unlucky by many people, was chosen by the couple as the date for their wedding in Italy. The location chosen is Villa La Vedetta, a beautiful luxury residence near Piazzale Michelangelo, on the Florentine hills. The terrace of the Villa overlooks right on the center of the city of Florence, with its most beautiful monuments. Once arrived it, Simone and I we head immediately to the birde’s room. Mallory is already dressed. Must only wear wedding shoues and she will be ready for the ceremony. The room is really beautiful: a huge window, as large as the entire wall, is directly located on Duomo of Florence. It looks like a renaissance painting, as subject Mallory. I before ask her to stay close to the window, then I ask her to sit on the leather couch, which contrasts sharply with a white dress. We climb the stairs leading to the part which overlooks the main part of the room. The symmetry made from the prospective are exciting. I shoot with my camera without stop. Mallory moves in a spontaneous way, I don’t need to tell what to do. After half an hour shooting, we move to the ground floor, where Andy, the groom, are waiting the arrival of the bride. Finally the couples meet each other and the ceremony begins. It’s a very intimate ceremony, because there are only the bride and groom and the celebrant. Francesca speak about rite and its symbolic value, of how important it’s for the couple, despite not having a legal recognition. Then finally the exchange of the rings, while Mallory and Andy look each other in the eyes. Behind us, the Duomo of Florence, as witness of the wedding. After tihe rings is moving the the ceremony of the send. Now it miss just the signatures! To conclude the ceremony a romantic kiss and a toast with prosecco. Luckily is georgeous, and it allow us to take amazing pictures in the garden of Villa la Vedetta. After an half hours I propose to move to Basilica of San Miniato a Monte. From there you can shoot a photos even more beautiful. After a few minutes shooting is time to go back to the hotel. Leave Andy and Mallori alone, to celebrate their first day in Florence as bride and groom!
