This young couple from Berlin had decided to celebrate their symbolic wedding in the green Tuscan hills. They needed to book a Tuscan wedding photographer and after our meeting the booked me.

Once at La Lucciolaia, I go look for the bride for the preparation session, but one of her bridesmaids asks me to wait, so I go look for Philip, who is in his room. He’s already in his suit, his best man is helping him with the cuff links.

Eventually, Jennifer is almost ready and I can shoot the loveliest part of the preparation, when she wears her dress. Her room is tiny and the only light comes from the window, but I am able to take some wonderful shots of Jennifer illuminated by the soft September light.

Everything is ready and the guests are already taking their seats. Philip is already there; visibly nervous, he speaks with one of his best men, trying to kill time.

The celebrant is already at her place and Jennifer appears from behind the corner, leaning on her father’s arm. They smile proudly as they walk followed by their guests’ eyes. The ceremony is very romantic, and tears roll down Jennifer’s cheeks. The young couple pronounce its vows with the lovely backdrop of San Gimignano, standing out among the Tuscan hills.

I shooted another amazing symbolic ceremony in august, like this, in the villa close to Lucca.

As Tuscan wedding photographer I love to shoot my pictures in a lovely Tuscan background. So,right after the ceremony we leave the guests and go take some shots in the tuscan vineyards before the villa, but we are soon back with the guests to toast with them.

I love the mellow September light; it is really my favorite for the Tuscan weddings!

The daylight is slowly becoming darker, and as the sun sets the guests start taking their seats at the dinner table.

It’s been a wonderful Tuscan wedding, full of emotions and lovely people!
